CLEARING THE WAY FOR WOMEN IN FORESTRY & CONSTRUCTION

We would like to invite you to an event that's happening in your area, of relevance to everyone interested in attracting women into forestry and construction.

It is being organised by the Scottish Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology and will present the findings of the FIRRS - Forest Industries Recruitment and Retention Strategy - project.
This has been funded by ConstructionSkills and the European Social Fund to help increase the number of women considering employment in industries which traditionally have not recruited many women.
There will be an opportunity to hear the viewpoints from the perspective of employers, researchers, students and HR.

If you are a career adviser or lecturer, teacher or employer in the sector, or anyone with an interest in this subject, this is for you.
