The Forestry Contracting
Association (FCA Membership Ltd) is the leading trade association within
UK forestry and wood related industries.
The Association focuses
on those businesses and individuals who are involved or interested in
the contracting sector.
We are a not-for-profit pressure group driven by our members and we offer
a wide range of business benefits that help members to be successful and
profitable.
We also provide a platform for individuals and specialist contractors
to air their views, gain knowledge from other sectors of the industry,
and be given the opportunity to provide a united front as part of a professional
organisation.
Members are at the
heart of the organisation. It is the members who elect the three Country
Policy Groups (England, Scotland and Wales) and it is from those Groups
that the main Board that runs the Association is then elected.
Having members as elected representatives means that the Policy Groups
and the Board comprise of like-minded individuals who understand the issues
that you face.
The industry sectors
that we represent and the benefits we provide are listed below.

All subscriptions will run from now through until March 2009. All members
will be invited to renew each subsequent March.
Our new on-line Directory will provide Members with their very own web
presence. You may design your web page yourself, or Nicole will design
one for you including all your contact details, ensuring a full-page web
advert without the hassle of having to create it yourself.
Members are able to use our logo on stationary, business cards etc. Please
ask Nicole for details.
In addition, to the new Trust Insurance deals we still retain a list of
companies who deal with forestry insurance issues, for all members.
The introduction of our new benefit, Manufacturers' Parts Search, enables
Members to save valuable time and money. Supply Nicole by phone or email
with the basic details of the part you require, and she will find the
contact details of the appropriate Manufacturers' Agents, while you are
able to carry on working.
All members are welcome to contact our Regional Policy Committee Members
or Nicole at Head Office to discuss any issues of concern. All issues
are forwarded to the Board for action.
